For those not up-to-date in gaming drama, tl;dr:
Blizzard banned a pro-player for voicing support of HongKong-Protests during an interview (link).
And here comes the backlash. Also, VICE-article about it.
Blizzard is not the first to bend to the Chinese, though. The NBA was the most recent high-profile organisation before Blizzard, and it's easy to assume most companies sell-out some moral highground for trading with, or producing in, China.
Not like many of us didn't know so before, anyway, and were, by ourselves, too uninterested to care where our clothes come from.
